Washington calls its citizens in Pakistan to guard against possible attacks

Issued a U.S. embassy in Islamabad, a security warning for all American nationals in Pakistan, which blurred the potential risk to the continued existence posed by al Qaeda and the Taliban, and militant groups that incite sectarian violence in the country.

Embassy message advises U.S. citizens to avoid crowds and public places, and stay away from the limelight during the festival celebrations of Independence in Pakistan, 14 August with Eid al-Fitr, which followed a few days.

And alerted the embassy in the warning published on its website, that
"Terrorists may want to take advantage of the festival celebrations of the independence of Pakistan and the al-Fitr festival to launch attacks."
