Obama discusses with Rajoy situation in Syria and Sudan


Spanish newspaper El Pais said that U.S. President Barack Obama discussed during a telephone conversation lasted about half an hour with the Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy developments in the euro zone crisis, and the development of the European Union and the situation in Syria and Sudan, as well as the economic situation in Spain.

American Embassy New Delhi: Open an investigation into the attack on the Sikhs, Wisconsin

U.S. Embassy in New Delhi expressed its regret for the loss of life and injuries that occurred in the shooting of a Sikh temple yesterday, Sunday, in Jorduara, Wisconsin.

The embassy said - in a statement on Monday - that the investigation had been opened in the tragic incident which occurred at a place of worship.
She explained that the religious freedom and tolerance are among the main pillars of American society. Noting that the Sikh community is part of the fabric of American society.

It is noteworthy that U.S. President Barack Obama had held a meeting over the phone with FBI Director Bob Mueller, the chief of staff, Jack Liu, and adviser to Homeland Security John Brennan, who briefed him on the latest information about the tragic incident in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, which led to the deaths of 7 Americans, including the gunman who attacked a Sikh temple.

Came shooting yesterday just two weeks after the attack, which occurred in the state of Colorado, where he was accused of James Holmes of killing 12 people and injured 58 others in the middle of the night of 20 July, during the presentation of the movie "Batman" new, "the return of Dark Knight."
